Born to a large family, Flash was the seventh child of eight. One of the last of the hippies, first of the freaks. Dad was a combat veteran and mom, a "Rosie the Riveter". He worked a number of different jobs over the course of an eventful life. Finally finding his place behind the wheel of an eighteen wheeler. His first book was written at the age of sixty, dictated into a cellphone over a bluetooth while hauling freight all across the USA. Mr. Horton can be found selling his books and poetry at craft fairs in Alabama. His home for 30 years and the place to which he retired from trucking.
